The Art of Light: Fine Art Photography at Harbor Holidays Artisan Market

Explore Marblehead and Vermont Through the Lens
This season, the Harbor Holidays Artisan Market at the Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA, presents a unique opportunity to experience fine art photography that celebrates the quiet power of simplicity and light. My Marblehead coastal wall art collection is guided by a “less is more” philosophy—where composition is pared down to essentials, mood is shaped by the ever-changing quality of light, and every subject is chosen for its calm, inviting energy.
The Vermont landscape collection is equally shaped by light and distinguished by a grounding energy unlike any other. Especially in winter, when blankets of snow settle over the backcountry, the interplay of soft illumination and quiet reveals a sense of peace and presence unique to those northern latitudes. Each image captures the subtle transformation that occurs as light and season work together to create scenes that are both tranquil and deeply rooted. Here is one piece that will be making its way to the market, also on display at Art in the Village in Warren, VT.
At the market, I’ll be featuring framed prints, loose matted prints, acrylic, and canvas wraps—each crafted to let the quiet presence of the scene come forward. This year marks the fourth year I am creating a limited edition print of the First Harbor Boat, a tradition that continues to evolve. The 2025 print is shaped by my current focus on light and minimalism, capturing the vessel with understated elegance and a refined sense of space. The new edition will be unveiled at the event, and I look forward to sharing this latest interpretation with you.
Set against the festive backdrop of Marblehead’s harbor, the market features a wide array of artisan goods, while my photography offers a chance to explore how less can evoke more, and how light shapes tranquility in art. Visit my booth to discover the subtle energy that defines these collections.
