A stunning scene unfolded at Redd's Pond in Marblehead, Massachusetts, when a remote controlled racing model sailboat entered the waters. The owner was nice enough to let my 7 year old son take over the remote control and teach him a few things about navigating the boat. The result: an idyllic display of Redd's Pond and its use as a recreational and kid-friendly place to be.
