Printing, Framing and Matting details

Unframed print:

Printed on Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper- the highest quality archival paper, with excellent color management. All photographs are luster-coated; an eco-friendly, non-flammable roller-applied coating that provides superior protection against fingerprints and UV exposure, while enhancing the look of the print. Unframed prints ship as loose prints and are sent inside rigid mailers with cardboard inserts, ideal for preserving artwork. It is recommended to keep loose prints inside mailers until they are ready to be framed, for product quality purposes.   

Framed Prints:

Prints are matted using white mat board made of 100% cotton, lignin-free and acid-free, designed for the preservation of artwork. For larger print sizes, prints are dry-mounted using a reversible technique to prevent buckling and wrinkles. Any framed print that is 16" x 20" or larger will get dry-mounted. All framed prints come with wired backings, making for easy wall installation.

Premium matte finished wood frames are sized as follows:

1" wide or less for 8x10" and 8x12" prints

1.25"-1.5" wide for 12x18" and 16x20" prints

2-3" wide for 24x36" and 32x40" prints, unless specified otherwise by the customer.

Matting sizes: 

1" matting for 8 x 10" and 8 x 12" prints.

1.5" matting for 12 x 18" and 16 x 20" prints

3" matting for 24 x 36" and 32 x 40" prints.
