A meaningful place, photographed for you
I accept a limited number of commissions to create original landscape and fine-art photographs of places that matter to you, including a favorite coastal view, a familiar landscape, or a location with personal significance.
We begin with a conversation about the setting, the feeling you would like the photograph to convey, and where the finished piece will live.
Getting to know your chosen place
I spend time on site getting to know the area, returning for multiple visits to explore different compositions, weather conditions, and the way the light changes. Those visits help me discover the viewpoints and moments that bring out the character of the place.
In much of my personal work, I choose where to go and what draws my attention. A commission begins with a place chosen by you. The creative challenge becomes discovering how to make a work of art in that particular setting. It is a challenge I enjoy, and one that invites me to look more closely.
From a place to a finished piece
After photographing and editing, I will guide you through image selection, sizing, and professional framing to create artwork suited to your space.
Framing can be tailored to the photograph and the space. Beyond the standard options shown online, I can work with my framer to explore other mouldings and finishes, with availability and pricing confirmed before you decide.
Each project is quoted individually based on the photography involved, finished size, and presentation.
