Exploring Ware Pond: Hidden Fall Beauty in Marblehead
Most people in Marblehead drive by Ware Pond without ever really seeing it. The view of the pond is obscured; there is no direct line of sight from the street, nor walking trails, so to gain a vantage point, I had to put the drone to work. As it ascended above the trees and beyond, a view of the entire pond became crystal clear, with vibrant foliage around the pond's northern edge. The morning sun helped bring those colors to life, and from atop, they layered nicely with the darker pond water and inner brush. Here are a few images:
