A row of sailboats lines up across the water as the last light of the day begins to color the sky. The repeating shapes and near-perfect spacing create a naturally graphic composition with a strong sense of order.
Artist Note
I spotted these sailboats lined up beside one another and immediately fell in love with the symmetry and repetition. As the day started to fade, late-afternoon color began to emerge in the sky, giving the scene an extra layer that made the whole composition come together. It felt like such a satisfying way to end the day.
